We provide assessment, evaluation, technical assistance, training, strategic planning, community health planning, meeting facilitation, and other assistance for organizations and communities.
We work with local governments, state governments, non-profits, local and state coalitions, tribal health organizations and corporations, school districts, private corporations, and more. We provide services in locations from rural areas to local hubs to large cities across the United States.

The Rede Group is seeking a motivated intern to gain hands-on experience in public health consulting. This paid opportunity is designed to provide a comprehensive look at how a consulting firm operates while building practical skills in the field of public health.
This position offers 25-32 hours per week over a 10 week period, Monday through Thursday, with an immediate start for the right candidate. Interns are compensated at $25 per hour and are expected to be available during firm hours of 8:30 AM to 5:30 pm. The Rede Group operates on a hybrid schedule, with Monday and Wednesday worked remotely and Tuesday and Thursday spent at our Oregon City office.
You will be integrated into our day-to-day operations, contributing to active projects and weekly office tasks while gaining real insight into consulting work. This role may also include travel throughout Oregon and Washington State to support events or engagement.
Roles and Responsibilities may include:
Collaborate with senior staff and project leads, providing support across a variety of assigned tasks
Apply quantitative and qualitative research methods and data analysis to support project assignments
Compile, fact-check, and synthesize information and data to contribute to the development of reports and proposals
Assist in coordinating public health-related events, meetings, webinars, and trainings as needed
Contribute to the development and implementation of firm marketing and outreach content
Support Spanish translation and facilitation tasks as needed
Assist with general and project-related administrative tasks, including data organization and spreadsheet management

Applicants must have one or more of the following skills:
Strong knowledge of research methodology
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish
Experience entering and managing information in databases
Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative data analyses
Experience conducting literature searches
Strong writing and communication skills
Event planning and coordination experience
Marketing experience, including content creation
Project coordination or support experience
Minimum qualifications:
Commitment to health equity
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a public health, or related field.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required, with the ability to provide translation and facilitation support.
Interest in public health promotion, education, and community engagement.
Excellent communication, research, and organizational skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills in English; ability to write and present data and information in a compelling way to different audiences.
Strong time management and organizational skills; demonstrated ability to work well independently and in teams
Understanding and interest in improving the health and well-being of people in communities throughout Oregon and beyond
Ability to read carefully, follow directions, and attend to detail
Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, Google
Ability to work 25-32 hours per week for at least 10 weeks
Ability to work in-person from our Oregon City, OR office two days per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays
