Welcome to the Oregon Nicotine Treatment & Recovery Collab Space

  • This collaboration works to improve nicotine addiction diagnosis, treatment and recovery for people who are using tobacco or nicotine products and also experiencing mental health conditions or substance use disorders. This project is funded by the Oregon Health Authority. During 2020 - 2023 this project is focused on assessment and planning. During 2023-2024 this project used the information from previous assessments to develop messaging, materials, and technical assistance for tobacco prevention coordinators and behavioral health professionals. Currently, we have many sub-projects going on focused on both gather data (such as learning about tobacco use policies at SUD treatment facilities) and professional trainings (such as Tobacco Treatment Specialist trainings).

Rede Group lead facilitators are Audra Baca and Elena Rivera.
